Giving Back

Giving back is a massive part of what we are about.

Since we started it’s always been at the core of what we do. It’s a great feeling, being involved in projects and especially being able to offer a service that would be beyond many organisations budgets. We have helped numerous charities and clubs with free or discounted websites, social media or digital marketing campaigns.

Having been an avid GAA and especially hurling fan all my life, I couldn’t help but get involved when asked to develop a website for the Ballyduff Ball Wall. The Ballyduff Ball Wall began with a vision of those involved with Ballyduff Coiste na nÓg (Youth GAA) of developing a hurling wall and multi-game area, to allow sport to be played throughout the year. This was a massive undertaking for a local voluntary club and required the huge input of a large number of volunteers.

We developed the entire website free of charge and donated all our time to the organisation. The site was used over the past number of years to keep people informed of the progress of the fundraising and events that were taking place.

“We worked with SJS Web Design to create a website for our fundraising endeavour. Sean has been a complete pleasure to work with and his ongoing support is a real asset. His professionalism is second to none, he knew straight what we wanted and how it would work. We genuinely couldn’t recommend his services highly enough.”

When Listowel Traders Association approached us during the summer of 2017 about running the magical Listowel North Pole Express, we couldn’t help but get involved. We developed a website from scratch and researched the best booking system to use to meet their very unique needs. We decided to use the third party service TicketWeb and we liaised with them throughout the running of the service.

We again worked with the Traders Association leading up to Christmas 2018, to edit their site and select a new booking system based on their changing needs. This time we used a combination of booking plugin and form software, which turned out to be a roaring success.

The website was vital, as for both years the majority of the bookings had to be taken online. The Association’s budget was limited, so we were delighted to be in a position to offer them a heavily discounted rate, to help compliment the massive amount of time all the other business owners and volunteers donated.

“Sean and Martina went above and beyond the call of duty in creating an amazing website and booking system for our Christmas event – the Listowel North Pole Express. They worked closely with us on the design and were readily available to go over any issues that arose with the booking system in the early stages.  We could not have been happier and really appreciate the heavily discounted rate he gave us.”

We developed a website for Aras Mhuire in 2015 and have worked with them on various edits and updates since then. In 2017 they ran a hugely successful auction fundraiser, to raise funds for their new acquired brain injury unit, in which they auctioned a number of highly sought after donated sports jerseys.

We provided our services free of charge for this campaign. This included maintaining and updating their Facebook page several times a day for the weeks leading up to (and during) the auction itself, and also updating their website. Along with donating our time, we donated €150 towards Facebook Ads, which we created and managed.
